Eduard Zaloshnja

Eduard Zaloshnja, PhDEduard Zoloshnja Dr. Zaloshnja is a Research Scientist at Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation (PIRE) in Calverton, MD. He completed his Ph.D. in Applied and Agricultural Economics at Virginia Tech and his M.S. and B.S. in Economics at Tirana University in Albania. Dr. Zaloshnja taught econometrics for seven years at Tirana University, conducted post-doctoral research at Virginia Tech for two years, and has been conducted research at PIRE since 1999. Dr. Zaloshnja utilizes statistical and economic research methods to examine a variety of injury problems. He has published extensively on the economics of unintentional injuries. His recent and currently active research is focused on the topics of traffic and workplace injuries.
