Resources for ResearchersElectronic Blue Sheet (EBS)The Offices of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and Information Technology (OIT) have collaborated to implement a full service Electronic Research Administration (ERA) solution. While planning for ERA will be an ongoing long-term project for the University, in the short term, OSP and OIT have worked to create an Electronic Sponsored Programs Application Approval Sheet (blue sheet). This new Electronic Blue Sheet (EBS) will implement a paperless routing and approval process for proposal documents typically submitted to the Office of Sponsored Programs. Beginning January 1, 2011, the new Electronic Blue Sheet (EBS) process will become the primary means through which all external funding proposals will be submitted to the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP). Hard copy blue sheets will not be used after the end of 2010. Anyone that has not already attended an EBS training session that will be working with proposal submissions is strongly encouraged to attend a training session. The EBS Training schedule is posted on the Office of Sponsored Programs web site. We have also attached a link to the most recent Office of Sponsored Programs Newsletter that contains additional information about EBS as well as the training schedule. Registration is required since seating is limited in each training session. Several sessions are scheduled at the HSC Learning Center. NOTE TO CHAIRS/DEANS/DIRECTORS: If you wish to make a revision or update your approver(s) in this listing, please contact us and we will make the change.
