School of Medicine Summer Research Program for Medical 1 StudentsEach summer (June 4 – August 10, 2012), first year M.D. students have the opportunity to gain valuable research experience with faculty in their field of interest. This summer research internship is 10 weeks in length and includes a salary of $3,500. It is required that students submit an abstract for oral presentation or research poster at the E.J. Van Liere Memorial Convocation & HSC Research Day the following spring. The deadline to apply for the program is March 16, 2012. Final decisions will be announced early April.
