Overview

In these financially challenging times, it is imperative that the Health Sciences Center operate as efficiently as possible. To that end, the HSC is embarking on an institution-wide cost savings and revenue enhancement initiative.

A Task Group has been formed to lead this effort in identifying ideas that will result in both savings in supplies, services and other direct expenditures, and revenue opportunities. Over the next 2 months the Group will work with HSC faculty, staff, and students to gather ideas, work with in-house analysts to determine the feasibility and cost/benefit of the presented ideas, and prioritize a list of recommendations. The Task Group will present feasible suggestions to the HSC Executive Committee for their consideration sometime in July.
