The Fitness Center

The Fitness Center, located on the second floor of the Rosenbaum Family House, is available to all employees of WVUH, UHA, and the Health Sciences Center for general use. All employees MUST have an orientation to the Fitness Center before usage. Please call 293-2520 to schedule an orientation.

The Fitness Center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week!

Currently -- Key access required before 6:00 a.m. and after 8:00 p.m.

KEY ACCESS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES -- AUGUST 28


Attention ALL Fitness Center Members -- For increased security and awareness of access to the Fitness Center located in the Rosenbaum Family House, a programmed ID badge or Tesa card will be required to open the door. This procedure will eliminate the sign-in process and will become effective Friday, August 28, 2009.

All WVUH employees who have had an orientation to use the Fitness Center will automatically have their ID badge programmed to unlock the door without needing to visit the Security/Parking Office.

We ask all UHA and WVU employees and all spouses of WVUH, UHA, & WVU employees who are members of the Fitness Center to visit the Security/Parking Office located on the 4th floor of the Hospital beside the Dispatch window. UHA and WVU Employees may obtain a TESA card (at no cost) and/or see if their ID badge can be encoded for access to the Fitness Center.

Please check with the Security/Parking Office regarding this process between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:30 pm.

Employee & Spouse Fitness Center Information

Employees & spouses who schedule, attend and pay for a Fitness Center orientation, will be given key access to the Fitness Center.
Employee Membership Fee: $10 (Employee pays $3 + 7 points will be deducted from Wellness Points balance.)
