Sweet Sesame Chicken Pizza on a Homemade Wheat Crust

Amount:

Ingredients:

2 Cups

Whole Wheat Flour
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Dry Oats
1 Tbsp. + 1 1/2 tsp. Active Dry Yeast
1/4 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Honey
1 1/2 Cup Warm Water

Recipe Directions:

  1. Mix 1/2 of flours, oats, yeast and salt.  Heat water to 125 degrees.  Add honey.  Gradually add water to dry mixture.  Mix for 2 minutes.  Add remaining flour, mixing well after each addition. Knead dough for 10 minutes.  Spray with Pam. Cover. Let rise in warm place until double. Punch down.  Divide into equal parts.  Roll and place in 7-ince pizza pans.  Cover; let rise in warm place approximately 45 minutes.

Honey
2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
1 cup + 2 Tbsp. Plum Sauce

Recipe Directions:

  1. Brush rim of the crust with the honey and sprinke with sesame seeds.  Allow 1 tsp. Honey and 2/3 tsp. Sesame seeds per pizza.

  2. Spread 2 Tbsp. Plum sauce evenly over each crust.

Roasted Chicken Breasts (not smoked) diced
2 tsp. Minced Garlic
1 cup & 2 Tbsp. Pineapple Tidbits (if fusing larger pieces, chop in 1/2 inch pieces) drained
1 cup & 2 Tbsp. Red Onions, sliced
1 cup + 2 Tbsp. Green peppers, diced
2 1/4 cups Part-skim Mozzarella Cheese

Recipe Directions:

  1. Top with remaining ingredients.  Each pizza gets:  2 oz. diced chicken breast, 2 Tbsp. Pineapple Tidbits, 2 Tbsp. Red Onion slices, 2 Tbsp. Green Peppers, and 1/4 cup cheese.

  2. Bake in hot oven (375 degrees convection oven; 425 degrees home oven) approximately 10 minutes.
