Tina has been a faithful participant in the Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days® program for 10 years and used the 2009 event to kick off her weight loss goal. She had been gradually gaining weight since her last pregnancy 11 years ago, and decided it was finally time to lose the unwanted pounds.
Since April 2009, Tina has lost an amazing 78 pounds through diet and exercise. She follows a low fat, low calorie diet and exercises at a gym 4 times per week. She records her daily food intake in a food journal to help herself stay on track.
She frequently takes the stairs at work to increase her daily calorie expenditure and says that she has more energy now than ever. Tina stays motivated to continue her healthy eating and workouts with the excitement she feels about fitting into her new, smaller-sized wardrobe.
She has also spread the word about living a fit lifestyle to her family, and her 16 year old daughter has also been successful with weight loss, losing 33 pounds to date.
