For more than a year West Virginia University took an
important initiative to build a clear institutional identity. Part
of this initiative was making sure that all official University
communications use consistent language and are in line with University
standards in the use of graphic elements such as logos and colors.
The Health Sciences Center received approval to keep its
"WV in a box"--distinct from the box-less
"flying WV" used by the other parts of the University. All
other uses must conform with University
guidelines.
