Research Interests:
Ray Raylman directs the Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation Research Laboratory (NMIRL) which is located the Center for Advanced Imaging within the WVU Radiology Department. The major emphasis of this facilty is to develop methods for the in vivo localization of positron-emitting radiopharmaceuticals. Current projects include an intra-operatibve beta senstive probe, a device for postiron-emission tomographic guided breast biopsy, and an MRI-PET scanner.
