Welcome to the transitional website for the Cardiovascular Toxicology Specialty Section of the Society of Toxicology (CVT SS and SOT, respectively). The CVT SS is currently forming, and will develop into a full specialty section of the SOT. The CVT SS has been established to unite and support scientists and students alike in their common endeavors associated with cardiovascular toxicology research. The success of the CVT SS is critically dependent upon the mutual participation of scientists from academia, government, industry and the private sector. This interaction will produce the greatest amount of cross-fertilization and ultimate success of the CVT SS on numerous levels.

We hope this website helps potential members to learn more about the CVT SS and its development. In the coming year we will regularly update this website with information about the CVT SS with the intent to attract as many interested cardiovascular toxicologists as possible to our Charter Meeting at the SOT Annual Meeting.
