Thematic Research Areas

Beneath the broad umbrella of cardiovascular and respiratory research the investigative activities of CCRS faculty members are organized around five thematic areas as they relate to a host of diseases and risk factors to provide focal points for their collaborative efforts. The thematic areas defined below reflect the interests and expertise of our current faculty. The identity and number of these thematic areas may change over time to reflect evovling areas of research strength or new research initiatives.
