MSN Faculty Award for Excellence
Winner: Shirley Aycoth, MSN, RN

Given to a student with a 3.5 grade point average or higher, who embodies the criteria for excellence in our curriculum, including excellence in critical thinking, clinical practice, and scholarly inquiry.  Voted on by all graduate faculty at the School of Nursing.

MSN Alumni Leadership Award
Winner: Tammy Crookshanks, MSN, RN

Award given to a student who is voted by peers to exemplify the following:
1. Models professional advanced practice in nursing to his/her peers.
2. Influences peers, colleagues, consumers and clients to value advanced practice nursing as a profession.
3. Accepts responsibility and accountability as a leader and client advocate for the nursing profession.
4. Demonstrates the potential and commitment to advancing nursing as a profession.
