renal deterioration by history, physician examination and laboratory;
and when to use consultant.

management of acute renal failure that may include dialysis but to
include emergency management of life threatening problems to include
hyperkalemia, calcium abnormalities, etc.
- Continuing
management of chronic renal failure patients pre and post dialysis and
transplantation
- Indications for
renal biopsy
- Assessment of
renovascular disease
- Indications and
use of special tests, such as renal scan, IVP, captopril test,
creatinine clearance, urologic studies (cystogram, retrograde studies),
etc.
- Hypertension –
measurement, diagnosis, treatment, select groups, compliance
- Upper and lower
urinary tract infections, abscesses, UTI associated sepsis, urethritis
- Renal tubular
acidoses, tubulo-interstitial disease, drug related renal failure
- Nephrolithiasis
