The Pediatrics Department of the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center of West Virginia University, WVU Physicians of Charleston is ready to care for the health needs of children in southern West Virginia by offering hematology/oncology services to pediatricians, family practitioners, and to other primary care physicians.

• Hematologic disorders
• Sickle cell disease
• Thalassemia
• Brain Tumors
• Solid Tumors
• Bleeding disorders

Other services provided:

• Outpatient Chemotherapy/Infusion Center
• Infusions of blood products, immunoglobulins

The West Virginia University Physicians of Charleston Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 4:30 for referral appointments. The pediatric hematologist/oncologist sees referrals in clinic 4 days a week, serves as an Attending, Consultant and as an academic advisor to residents.
