The Pediatrics Department of the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center of West Virginia University, WVU Physicians of Charleston, is ready to care for the health needs of children in southern West Virginia by offering inpatient and outpatient consultation for childhood infections. Dr. Raheel R. Khan, is Board-Certified in pediatrics and Board Eligible in pediatric infectious diseases, and can assist in the care of children in the following areas:

• Acquired or congenital immunodeficiencies
• Recurrent and resistant respiratory infections
• Congenital infections
• Meningitis / Encephalitis
• Multidisciplinary Approach to Cystic Fibrosis
• Pulmonary Function Testing
• Dietary management

The WVUPC (West Virginia University Physicians of Charleston) Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 4:30 for referral appointments. Dr. Raheel Khan sees referrals in clinic 5 days a week, serves as Attending, Consultant and as the Academic director for the Residents.
