Marshall Carper Family Medicine Award

In Recognition of: A third and/or fourth year student who best exemplifies the qualities of a family physician, especially in the areas of clinical competence in a variety of settings, enthusiasm for learning, strong interpersonal skills, interest in primary care and family dynamics, and empathy in caring for each patient from infancy through end-of-lef care; these performance standards for the "ideal Family Physician" were exemplified by Dr. Carper throughout his medical and teaching career.
