Geriatrics Lunchtime Learning

Geriatric Lunchtime Learning programs are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the WVU Building, 3110 MacCorkle Avenue, Charleston, WV - Room 2000 and broadcast to CAMC General and Women and Children Divisions.

The purpose of the Lunchtime Learning programs are:

  1. Improve the geriatric knowledge, skills and attitudes of health professions students, faculty and practitioners
  2. Supplement formal training for health care professionals students
  3. Support interdisciplinary team care for older adults and their families
  4. Promote cultural competence for faculty, students and practitioners

On the day of the event, the Geriatrics presentation will be availabe to open and view in real time between 12:00 Noon and 1:00PM. If you happen to miss the live learning event or the presentation is not listed, you can access it by clicking on the CME Archived Webcasts on the left side of the Continuing Education page. On the CME Archived webcast page, you can then select the Geriatric Series link.
