POST Works: New Findings and Talking Points

The featured speaker is Susan E. Hickman, PhD, Associate Professor in the School of Nursing and Senior Scholar with the Center for Ethics in Health Care at the Oregon Health & Science University.  She leads the research for the National POLST Paradigm Initiative Task Force and is the principal investigator on a multi-state NIH RO1 grant studying use of the POLST Paradigm in nursing homes entitled "Converting Treatment Wishes into Orders at the End of Life."
