Alzheimer’s Disease and Rural Issues: Lessons from the Alzheimer’s Association (US) Rural Initiative and Alzheimer Society of Canada

This workshop will offer a brief overview of Alzheimer’s Disease and its consequences. The panel will then discuss the disease, its impact on persons with Alzheimer’s, and identify their health care and social services needs. Special attention will be given to the impact on persons and their families who live in rural communities.
