Objectives
The major focus of the workshop will be a discussion of a variety of alternative medicine treatments relative to the aging body by a panel of three speakers. Attention will be paid to how these treatments can enhance the quality of life among older persons. Each speaker will have an approximately 45 minute presentation on his or her area of expertise. The areas of alternative medicine that will be specifically addressed include: herbs, yoga, pain management, acupuncture, and prevention/reversal of memory loss.
