Gerontological Society of America

What is the Gerontological Society of America?

The Student Organization of the Gerontological Society was created in 1960 to provide students with an opportunity to be players in the field of gerontology. Today, student members of the Society enjoy full membership benefits and privileges for about half the price of a regular membership. In 1995, the Student Organization helped launch the GSA Campus Representatives Program, designed to establish a professional/social network on every campus where there is, or should be, an active gerontology curriculum.

National Membership: The cost of membership at the national level is $65.00 for graduates, and undergraduates may choose a special membership with fewer benefits for $20.00. Application forms are available at the following address: https://www.geronmembers.org/gsamem.asp

WVU Chapter: Dues for the WVU Chapter will be $5.00 per academic year, checks made payable to WVU Foundation - GSA Student Chapter.
