MedU names Jeffery Hogg, M.D. senior director of virtual patient program

Jeffery Hogg, M.D., professor and vice chair for Education and residency program director in the Department of Radiology, was recently appointed senior director for Case-based Online Radiology Education (CORE), MedU's virtual patient program for medical students studying radiology.

Dr. Hogg previously served as CORE’s editor-in-chief. CORE is a compilation of case-based, online courses used in more than 70 domestic and international medical schools, including West Virginia University. Dr. Hogg serves as author and co-author in several case workshops, including as a project leader with co-author Malcolm D. Mattes, M.D., assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology.
