Recognition

The WVU Foundation recognizes extraordinary giving. The following donor recognition societies were created to honor those with an outstanding commitment to the mission and vision of West Virginia University.

Woodburn Circle Society

The Woodburn Circle Society recognizes those who have made gifts of $100,000 or more to benefit the University and its affiliated organizations.

Irvin Stewart Society

The Irvin Stewart Society honors those individuals whose planned gifts provide for the future of the University.

Endowment Club

The Endowment Club recognizes those who have made financial investments in the future of West Virginia University by creating an endowed fund.

Foundation Partners

This recognition group honors alumni and friends who provide WVU with a solid base of ongoing private financial support by contributing $1,000 or more each year.

Foundation Associates

This recognition group acknowledges donors who for five consecutive years have made gifts to the Foundation to benefit WVU.
