Support the School of Medicine

Message from Interim Dean James E. Brick, MD

Interim Dean James E. Brick

Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of patients and students, and the advancement of knowledge.

We are a team of talented and energetic people committed to excellence. Our faculty values collaboration, and our institution is on the move to being in the top ranks of America’s medical colleges.

We have a deep commitment to our state, and our multiple campuses offer multiple opportunities—a traditional academic medical center in small town America; a rural campus close to Washington, DC; and a metropolitan area campus with mixed faculty and private practice.

In recent years, with strong support from our University, our state, our hospitals, alumni and donors, we have made significant investments in research and infrastructure development. Our clinical facilities are second to none, and include many new technologies and tools unavailable at many larger medical centers. We are growing, but our manageable size means each person’s contribution is valuable.

To all of you who contribute to the success of our School, thank you.
