Use of Simulation in Nursing Education

Funds will furnish a laboratory at the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center to support clinical skills training for health science professions students. Many skills fundamental to quality practice can be simulated in an interactive learning environment. These gifts will purchase state-of-the-art equipment, as well as multimedia computers and accompanying software to teach assessment and clinical skills.
