Ways to Give

Your Investment in the Future

Your contribution to WVU Health Sciences allows us to advance our mission of Education, Research and Service.

“The mission of the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center is to improve the health of West Virginians through the education of health professionals, through basic/clinical scientific research and research in rural health care delivery, through the provision of continuing professional education, and through participation in the provision of direct and supportive health care.”

Without private contributions, WVU could not maintain its standard of excellence. State contributions (??%) and tuition fees (??%) make up only a portion of WVU’s budget. The remainder comes from dedicated individuals who believe in improving the lives of the citizens of this region.

As the state's flagship land grant institution, WVU may have a greater impact on West Virginia than can be bosted by any other public university about its state. WVU's Education creates jobs through the development of highly skilled workers and entrepreneurs, our Research finds solutions to the special problems of the region —medical, social and economic— and our Outreach gives ordinary citizens knowledge to improve their lives. The success of WVU is critical to the future success of West Virginia itself. And you are instrumental in making that success possible.
