Ye came to the Eastern Panhandle of WV with her husband who works in the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, and their two boys, 8 & 10. After graduating from medical school from Shanghai, China, she taught medical students for one year before coming to the United States to meet with her husband. She worked in medical research, clinic lab, pathology department for many years. Ye is very happy to be a part of the WVU Rural Family Medicine Residency Program because she enjoys the small program, the very friendly environment and the one-on-one attention from the attendings. Most of all, she can still spend time with her family, enjoy her boy’s soccer games and go to museums and good restaurants in D.C.
