Assistant Professor, Family Med Hospitalist Jefferson Memorial Hospital
Dr. Tim DeVine is a board certified Family Medicine physician, who completed a fellowship in Hospital Medicine. He is a full-time Hospitalist at WVUH-East / Jefferson Memorial Hospital, seeing patients in the hospital daily. (Hospitalists are physicians who specialize in treating hospitalized patients – enabling primary care providers to fully focus on their patients in the office.) Dr. DeVine also works with residents and medical students in the hospital, helping them to learn more about caring for inpatients.
Working as a hospitalist is a second career for Dr. Devine. He worked as a physical therapist for 20 years before deciding to go to medical school. In 2005, Dr. DeVine graduated from WVU School of Medicine and completed residency at Harpers Ferry Family Medicine.
