Assessment Materials

The Health Sciences Center Faculty Development program is currently preparing a catalog of various assessment materials developed and/or used by our faculty. This collection of resource materials will be available on our website for use by all faculty. This information will include varied forms of assessment including but not limited to: problem based learning, OSCE’s, simulation, writing test questions.

Please send any relevant information to HSCFacultyDevelopment@hsc.wvu.edu. Appropriate credit will be given to anyone who submits information.

Peer Assessment Form

Members of the Large Group Teaching Interest Group of the Academy of Excellence In Teaching and Learning  have developed a Peer Assessment Form which can be utilized by faculty across the HSC campus to provide peer feedback to faculty.

Objectives for Virtual Assessment Center

  • To have resource for new or less experience faculty with information and tools related to assessment.
  • Sharing of information among all faculty.
  • Matching method of assessment with method of teaching.
  • Enhance scholarship in area of assessment.
  • Long-term goal – link with other WVU departments.
  • Promote individual work.
