ELIGIBILITY
REQUIREMENTS
|
To be considered for the
full range of aid programs, students must first complete the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1st each year.
Other eligibility requirements may include:

Having a valid social security
number
-
Having a high school diploma
or General Education Development (GED), passing a test approved by the
US Department of Education or meeting other standards established by your
state and approved by the US Department of Education

Accepted or enrolled as a regular
student in a degree or certificate program
-
Being a US citizen or eligible
non citizen
-
Making satisfactory academic progress as defined by the institution
-
Signing a statement of educational
purpose and a certification statement indicating that you are not in default
on a student loan nor owe an overpayment on a grant. Both statements are
found on the FAFSA/Renewal FAFSA
-
Registering with Selective Service,
if required. If you are not registered, register
online here.

Having financial need, except
for some non-need loan programs
