Faculty and Staff

The ICRC is an interdisciplinary program currently involving 27 researchers from six colleges and schools, and 17 academic departments and centers from across West Virginia University.  The ICRC also maintains formal affiliations with collaborating investigators throughout the world, who represent another six national and five international Universities, several governmental agencies, and a number of non-profit organizations.  Within the setting of a remarkably supportive University, we have assembled a cadre of investigators dedicated to addressing the public health burden of injury through research, outreach, and education.  Included among our faculty are internationally recognized injury scholars, award winning educators, and several new and emerging injury scientists.  Led by an experienced Center Director, the ICRC faculty members possess demonstrable experience in all of the core disciplines of the public health approach to injury prevention and control. The small, but highly competent and experienced non-faculty staff provides administrative, communications/outreach, information technology, database management/analysis, statistical, and research assistant support to the Center Director and faculty.
