Physicians
Anna M. Allen, MD, MPH
Dr. Allen specializes in work-related injuries; OSHA-mandated medical surveillance; on-site occupational health services; and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) certifications. She received her medical degree from West Virginia University and did her specialty training at WVU and Washington Hospital. She is board certified in Family Medicine, board eligible in Occupational Medicine, and a certified Medical Review Officer.
Alan M. Ducatman, MD, MSc
Chair of the Department of Community Medicine, Dr. Ducatman specializes in environmental illness and toxic exposures. After earning his medical degree at Wayne State University, he completed specialty training at Brown University and the Mayo Clinic. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine.
Robert M. Gerbo, MD
A graduate of West Virginia University, Dr. Gerbo specializes in work-related injuries; disability and impairment issues; and on-site occupational health services. He is board certified in Family Medicine. He is a certified Medical Review Officer.
Chuanfang Jin, MD, MPH
A specialist in neurotoxicity, immigration examinations, on-site occupational health services, Dr. Jin earned her medical degree at ShanXi Medical University in China. She went on to complete her specialty training at Cornell Medical Center and West Virginia University. A civil surgeon for immigration examinations, Dr. Jin is board certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine.
Jan Johnson

Christopher J. Martin, MD, MSC
Dr. Martin serves as the director of WVU's Occupational Health program. A specialist in occupational allergic disorders, metal toxicology, and occupational cancer, he earned his medical degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland and completed his specialty training at University of Alberta, Canada. He is board certified in Occupational Medicine in both the USA and Canada.
Charles L. Werntz, III, DO, MPH
Dr. Werntz earned his medical degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his specialty training at West Virginia University. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine, Dr. Werntz specializes in low back pain; impairment evaluations; fitness for duty evaluations; OSHA-mandated medical surveillance; FAA examinations; and on-site occupational health services. He is a certified Medical Review Officer.
