Wimba for SOLEWimba Classroom is very much like a traditional classroom with the benefit of distance education. The Wimba Classroom allows for student participation by text, audio, and whiteboard as well as polling and hand-raising interactions, and video. In addition, faculty can present with any web-ready files such as powerpoint, images, and/or desktop sharing. All of this takes place within a single user-friendly internet window which requires minimal instruction and setup.
