Web Development
Our team of web developers create, maintain, and implement web-based instructional material, in conjunction with the Health Sciences Center faculty, to enhance the required curriculum for distance education.
Projects & Activities
- Design and maintain web sites for various departments and organizations within the Health Sciences Center.
- Keep current on the latest web technologies, evaluating them for applications in an online learning environment or on departmental websites.
- Advise faculty members throughout the course creation process.
- Train professors in the utilization of course management materials.
- Deliver and transform course content through the use of the Secure Online Learning Environment (SOLE), Microsoft FrontPage, Dreamweaver and Vista (eCampus).
- Available to help students learn how to access online course materials and technologies.
- Administer interactive areas, such as chat rooms, forums, etc. in an effort to build a community of students in the absence of a physical classroom.
- Maintain web course materials, preparing and improving completed courses for future sessions.
- Develop online help and training materials for SOLE and HSC initiatives.
