Define a Website in Adobe Dreamweaver

Site Definition

When beginning work on a website with Dreamweaver, the first step is to enter the website information into Dreamweaver's site management. If you do not have this information, it will be provided to you by Information Technology Services. You can call Information Technology Services at 304.293.3631.

1. From the menu, select Site, and then Manage Sites.
2. The Manage Sites dialog box will open. All sites that Dreamweaver manages will be listed here. If Dreamweaver has not been used previously, no sites will be listed.
3. To add a new site, click on the New button, and then select Site from the drop down menu. The Site Definition dialog box will open:
   
   
   
   
4. Click on the Advanced tab.
