Password Change

Make sure all computers connected to HSC resources using your login are immediately restarted / reset after you change your password using the link below. Failure to reset your computers may result in your account being locked as the computers try to connect using your old password. To change your password, simply click the link below to change your passwords, and then immediately restart/reset all computers connected to HSC resources. See password requirements below.

iPhone and Windows Mobile Users: Passwords are stored on the local device and are not updated when changing your HSC MasterID password. Please update your iPhone device password or Windows Mobile device password immediately after resetting your HSC MasterID password to avoid your mobile device from locking your account by using your old password credentials.

This password change utility will attempt to change your HSC MasterID and WVU MasterID passwords at the same time.  See list below for all affected passwords.  This will help keep these passwords in synchronization until such time as your HSC MasterID becomes your official account for ALL WVU and HSC system access.

• HSC MasterID – includes the following access:
• HSC Email (account ending in @hsc.wvu.edu)
• HSC File / Print Shares
• SOLE
• Wireless Networks:  WVU.Encrypted, WVU.MountainAir, WVa.home

• WVU MasterID (account ending in “-hsc”) – includes the following access:
• MyAccess including MAP
• BRAAN / BRAAN 2
• SEI
• WVU Parking
• OITBill
• Electronic Blue Sheet (ebs)
• Driver Safety Course Site
• eRS

Passwords must meet the following complexity requirements:

• Not contain all or part of the user's account name
• Be at least eight characters in length
• Contain characters from three of the following four categories:
• English uppercase characters (A through Z)
• English lowercase characters (a through z)
• Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
• Non-alphanumeric characters, (!, @, #, $, etc.)
• Password must be changed every 90 days
• Password must be different from previous three passwords

To Change your MedSite, RubyOnline, UHAOnline Passwords (if applicable)

FOR MEDSITE, RUBYONLINE, UHAONLINE:

• Log into Medsite
• Click the “Change Password” Link on the Left 

To Change your Pacs and Centricity Web Pacs Password (if applicable)

FOR PACS and CENTRICITY WEB PACS:

• At the login screen, enter your username and current password but do not click the "Login" button. Instead, click the "Change Password” button
• Enter a new password and click “Logon”
