Geri is the director of the Prevention Research Center (PRC) in the Department of Community Medicine and the Department's Associate Chair for Planning and Faculty Development. She also is a faculty partner in the Office of Drug Abuse Intervention Studies (ODAIS). Geri received her PhD in Psychology from Kansas State University. Her primary research interests include adolescent tobacco control policy, prevention, and cessation with a special emphasis on gender and mental health issues.
