Stephanie Frisbee joined the Department of Community Medicine from the Department of Pediatrics in July 2006. Stephanie joined WVU in 2004, coming from Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she directed the Outcomes Department and the National Outcomes Center. Stephanie brings expertise and knowledge about outcomes evaluation techniques and tools applied to a variety of operational needs and clinical conditions, most recently in the area of cardiovascular disease and obesity. Several of her abstracts on this topic were selected for poster presentation at The Obesity Society's 2006 Annual Scientific Meeting in October. Stephanie has joint appointments in the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Cardiovascular Sciences, and the Center for Respiratory Biology and Lung Disease.
