Melissa is a Research Program Coordinator in the Translational Tobacco Reduction Research (T2R2) program within the Department of Community Medicine. She graduated from West Virginia University with a Master*s degree in Communication Studies. With a focus on tobacco cessation and youth, Melissa conducts research for the West Virginia Prevention Research Center*s (WVPRC) CORE Research Project *Quit & Fit* to develop and test the effectiveness of a physical activity module for the Not On Tobacco (N-O-T) program, directed the development of the N-O-T program Web site and will examine the usability of the site, and will be the Project Director for the new WVPRC CORE Research Project concerning N-O-T dissemination.
