Eligible women ages 25 through 49 can receive:
- Clinical Breast Exams
- Pap Tests
- Pelvic Exams
Eligible women ages 50 through 64 can receive:
- Mammograms
- Clinical Breast Exams
- Pap Tests
- Pelvic Exams
Diagnostic services, tracking and follow-up, and case management services are also available.
Public Education
The public education services include:
- Nine Cancer Information Specialists located throughout the state. They help recruit and educate women about the importance of early detection of breast and cervical cancer.
- Developing and distributing culturally sensitive, easy-to-read education materials.
- Conducting public information campaigns and outreach activities at the local, regional and state levels.
- A network of volunteers to educate and recruit women eligible for screening.
- Working closely with other recognized health promotion groups such as the American Cancer Society to promote prevention, screening and early treatment for cancers.
