2007 Patient Reunion Album

Every year patients, staff, donors and their families gather for the WVU Blood & Marrow Transplantation Program Annual Patient Reunion. Acquaintances are renewed and new bonds are formed as patients treated over the years of the program's existence meet and exchange stories. This gathering is extremely satisfying for all who attend. Everyone enjoys the opportunity of spending time together outside of the medical setting.

Patients treated by the Blood & Marrow Transplantation Program are never "former" patients. Once their treatment is completed, they become a member of the "team." Previously treated patients may be called upon to provide information regarding their experiences for new patients with similar conditions and circumstances concerning transplant.

This year's gathering was on April 21, 2007, at the Flatwoods Days Inn Convention Center. It's always a day worth remembering...
