The Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program
Free Educational Talks on a Wide Range of Breast Cancer Related Topics

Throughout October Cancer Center specialists and other healthcare experts will provide free educational talks on a wide range of breast cancer related topics.  The talks are open to the public and will begin at 6 p.m. in the waiting area of the Betty Puskar Breast Care Center.

The following is a schedule of the talks offered during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October:

October 9 - Breast cancer screening, imaging, and breast MRI

October 16 - Hereditary risks for breast cancer and breast cancer prevention

October 23 - Surgical aspects in breast cancer

October 30 - Lymphedema issues and radiation therapy

Education and prevention are important parts of our mission at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center, said Scot C. Remick, M.D., director of the Cancer Center.  We welcome the opportunity to raise breast cancer awareness and to make our breast cancer experts and state-of-the-art facilities available to the people we serve.
