SurgeryA full range of therapeutic options are available, including:

  • Surgery
  • Sentinel node biopsy
  • Genetic counseling and testing
  • Chemotherapy
  • Radiation therapy
  • Hormonal therapy
  • Reconstructive surgery
  • Clinical Trials for new treatments
  • Psychosocial support programs.

The team meets together to discuss each patient's case and recommend the best possible treatment plan. A reconstructive surgeon can provide breast reconstruction at the same time as mastectomy if the patient desires. In addition to standard therapies, new treatments are offered, including those in clinical trials.
