Yan Ma is a faculty member in the Department of Statistics at West Virginia University (WVU) since early 2004. Her research interests are bioinformatics, data mining,
microarray data analysis, and information integration. She teaches statistics courses and also works as a consultant in the bioinformatics core facility located in health
science center at WVU. She received her Master's degree in Statistics and currently she is a Ph.D. candidate in the Computational Combinatorics and Discrete
Mathematics (CCDM) program at WVU. She has several publications at top international conferences and journals of bioinformatics, biometrics and software
engineering.Now, she is working in Bristol-Myers Squibb.
