AN INVITATION FROM SCOT C. REMICK, MD

Dear Friends and Colleagues,Photo of Dr. Scot Remick.

It is my distinct privilege to invite you to the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center 24th Annual Gala Celebration – Share the Journey. We feel there is no better way to share in the excitement of the unprecedented growth and new opportunities that are occurring on campus than to invite you to Morgantown for a week-long series of events.

In January 2009, we opened the doors of our new state-of-the-art clinical facilities, and we plan to open new research designated space in the future. We celebrate the staff additions of nationally renowned scientists and clinical investigators. Our research portfolio is steadily expanding and we are at the forefront of establishing a state-wide cancer clinical trials network. Our progress has been tremendous and could not have been achieved without the incredibly gracious support of all of you.

We envision working together – Developing Partnerships to ensure the success of statewide initiatives, Leading Innovation for cancer cure discovery, and Creating Hope for our patients and the families we serve. All of these endeavors are leading us on a path to achieve recognition by the National Cancer Institute. Your participation and support of our programs helps us grow stronger.

Again, please plan to join us in April. My wife, June, and I look forward to seeing you.

Sincerely Yours,

Dr. Scot C. Remick, Director & Professor of Medicine
The Laurence & Jean DeLynn Chair of Oncology
