Support Groups

New Support GroupFamily Support Program ( in partnership with the WV Family Grief Center)

Description: For MBRCC patients and their children (ages three to 18)
When: Second and fourth Tuesday of each month, beginning April 24
Time: 6 pm to 7:30 pm

New Support GroupBrain Tumor

Description: For all brain tumor patients, their families, and friends
When: Patients meet the 2nd Friday of the month.
Caregivers meet the 4th Friday of the month.
Time: 11:00 am to 12 pm noon

Breast Cancer

Tobacco Cessation Services

Breathe and Be Tobacco Free. An intiative of the WVU Health Sciences Campus.

"Breathe & Be Tobacco Free Support Group"

This support group is for former smokers with a focus on relapse prevention. It meets every OTHER Monday from 12:00-1:00 PM, in Room #1156 (Study Room- New Learning Center, Health Sciences Center- South) The first meeting is scheduled for April 14, 2008.

This group is open to the public, community members, and staff are encouraged to attend.
