Please schedule all return doctor, treatment and/or testing appointment(s) before you leave the clinic. You need an appointment for each area of the clinic, for example one to see your doctor, one to have your blood work drawn, and a third to get your treatment.

The automated appointment reminder systems calls 24-48 hours before your scheduled appointments. However, if you have more then one appointment scheduled in the MBRCC clinic on the same day, you receive only one call for the first appointment of the day.

If you can’t keep a return appointments, please call 304-293-4500 (Toll-free 1-877-427-2894) and ask to speak with a registration specialist to reschedule for a more convenient time.  If you call to cancel or reschedule a treatment appointment, the registration specialist must talk to your nurse clinician before making any changes. It is very important to stay as close to the original treatment schedule as possible.

It is vital for your health and safety that you come to all scheduled appointments.  Failure to call, to repeatedly cancel, and /or reschedule appointments, has a negative impact you as well as on other patients and the smooth flow of the clinics and treatment areas.  We do monitor cancellations, “no call, no shows” as well as arrivals at the wrong time.  A pattern of not notifying the clinic when you cannot come to an appointment or of coming to appointments at the wrong times can result in you no longer receiving care here. The MBRCC clinic does not do “walk-in” appointments. If you missed a scheduled appointment and need to reschedule, please call 304-293-4500 and ask to speak to registration specialist.  We will however try to accommodate urgent patient appointments.

Reminders for Appointments:

• Please come 15 minutes before a doctor appointments
• Visitors are limited to no more then two in exam rooms. Other visitors are welcome to wait in the lobby.
• We may ask visitors to step out of exam rooms during physical examinations or procedures. Your cooperation is appreciated
• It is a patient’s responsibility to help the team keep track of needed prescriptions.  Don’t forget to ask your doctor for new prescriptions or prescription refills before you leave the clinic.  If you forget and call the Triage RN for a prescription, it can take two business days to call prescriptions into your pharmacy. 
• Schedule return appointments before you leave the clinic.
