Smoking Policy

Smoking or the use of smokeless tobacco is not permitted in the cancer cernter clinic or infusion center. There is a smoking booth available outside and at the rear of the Cancer Center clinic. Please be aware, however, patients may not leave the infusion center during treatments to smoke.

Because of the known health risks, we strongly encourage you to not smoke or use smokeless tobacco. There are resources and programs to help you quit such as the West Virginia QuitLine 1-877-966-8784 (toll-free) or vucancer.org/t2r2/cessationServices.asp

Please discuss this and other options for "kicking the habit" with your healthcare team.
