Animal Imaging
AMIF will soon be offering in vivo animal imaging using the Xenogen IVIS® Lumina Imaging System [add link to http://www.caliperls.com/products/optical-imaging/ivis-luminaii.htm].  This system allows researchers to perform in vivo imaging using real-time imaging to monitor and record cellular and genetic activity within a mouse or rat using fluorescent and/or bioluminescent reporters.

Imaging will be offered for mice only and will be done by Mindy Hollander.  Since imaging will be done on live animals within a room in the animal quarters, we cannot offer user operation at this time.
This service is NOT yet available.  We are hoping to have the system set up by mid- to late-February and much more information will be available here at that time.  If you have specific questions in the meantime, please contact Mindy Hollander.
