The following surgical procedures can be performed by the AMIF. Mindy Hollander has been trained in these techniques by surgeons at the Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine.
- Orchiectomy (Castration)
- Vasectomy
- Splenectomy
- Adrenalectomy
- Nephrectomy
- Thymectomy
- Ovariectomy
- Ovarian Transplant
- Jugular Vein Catheterization (including care of catheter, withdrawal of blood and infusion of compound)
- Carotid Artery Catheterization (including care of catheter, withdrawal of blood and infusion of compound)
Additional surgeries can be requested, however training may be required.All surgery requests must be done through a consultation. Any training that is required will NOT be charged.
